There is no real limit to the number of Fields you can add to a Field Group. If your server has room, you can keep on creating Fields. But as a general rule, we wouldn’t recommend adding more than fifty Fields to a Field Group.

There are settings available that are specific to each field type, such as 'options' for a dropdown field. You can create multiple custom fields and apply the same settings to all of them so that they look and behave identically.
